MEET MONICA

My work is grounded in the belief that healing unfolds when people feel safe, supported, and free to express themselves creatively.

Hello! I’m Monica, a proud mother to two curious girls, who are the heart and soul behind my studio.

One of the most important lessons I want to share with my daughters is the courage to chase their dreams and always to embrace the wonder that comes with discovering the world around them.

My Art Therapy Philosophy

I believe that creativity is an innate human capacity and a gentle pathway to healing. Art therapy offers a way to slow down, listen inwardly, and express what may be difficult to put into words.

My approach is client-centered and grounded in compassion. I create safe, nurturing spaces where people feel held, seen, and respected — particularly those carrying the emotional weight of caring for others or navigating times of transition.

The focus is not on artistic skill or outcome, but on process: using materials, images, and creative exploration to support emotional regulation, self-reflection, and reconnection with self. Through this process, clients are invited to rest, restore, and gently make meaning at their own pace.

I honour each person’s story, strengths, and resilience, trusting that healing unfolds when there is safety, curiosity, and care.
